I wrote Sun Song in December of 1998 in a practice room at Old Dominion University where I was earning my degree in music education. It is dedicated to my son Dominick who was just born in November of the same year.

Helene's Way is dedicated to my grandmother. I had the opportunity to spend a great deal of time with both of my grandmothers in the first ten years of my life. Both of them were amazing women and great storytellers.

Liz Terrell is featured on the beautiful Charle Mingus ballad Eclipse. Liz is an amazing vocalist in the Norfolk, VA. area. Please do not hesitate to check her page out. Her debut album "It's All Right With Me" is well worth listening to.

One In The Same is a fairly new composition written in late 2019 right before the pandemic. It was simply just one of those things where the A section came one day and the bridge came a few days later. I stayed out of my own way and just let the music go where I felt it should go.

Melancholia was part of a composition I wrote back in the early 2000's that I found in an old composition notebook. I spent some time and reworked the melody and changes a bit. It is usually played in a lazy waltz fashion, but I like the way this version came out.
Cinque Per Velia was written in honor my other grandmother Velia Bonuagurio.

It is humbling to have the opportunity to play with such great musicians and to be part of this music coming to life. Thanks to Justin, Taylor, Alan, Emre and Liz for all the work that was put in to help make this project happen. Also, thanks to Trey Pollard and Curtis Fye at Spacebomb Studios in Richmond, VA., Rob Ulsh at Master Sound Studios in Virginia Beach, VA. and Eddie Williams for all the great photos and album art work.
