James O’Neill and the Silver Shadows have recorded at both Abby Road and Sun Studios in the last year but this CD takes you right back to 1987 where the Blues scene in the Bay Area had reached an all time peak. Competition was tough but James O'Neill was tougher see if you can take what these hard hitters have to offer. Their colorful past includes having played alongside musical greats and blues legends, including John Hammond, Eddie Kirkland, Rick Derringer, and Greg Allman. Offering a wide variety of sounds all centered around the classic blues, you will hear plenty of funk, soul, R & B, and a little bit of reggae thrown in to this Blues mix.
