Gurnemanz - Walking Under Blue Moon (2022)

Gurnemanz was a German prog-folk rock band from the mid 70s with a line-up that included sitar, flute, lute, lyre and mandolin - all played by master musicians; but the band stood out because of the stunning female voice of Manuela Schmitz. To coincide with their 50th anniversary autoharp player John Cremer, being the keeper of the Gurnemanz flame, suggested releasing past recordings. John has stored in his archive numerous tapes of the band's rehearsals, as well as live performances - all recorded with very modest means. Amongst these excellent live recordings, are the songs intended for Gurnemanz' third album , 'Walking Under Blue Moon'.
