The sound on these Alexandre Bak remasters is far superior to the same performances on the Mercury label. The latter sound quite harsh but the sound on the Alexandre Bak release is much better balanced and a great deal more pleasant to listen too. I have found this with quite a few other remasterings from the mysterious Alexandre Bak.
