Mike currently based in Dublin, Ireland. He is a guitarist & singer songwriter who performs & records original blues/rock music. Mike is one of Irelands leading educators in blues, rock and Jazz guitar and teaches students all over the world via the internet.

Mike Brookfield has performed professionally as a guitarist since 1989, starting his career in London’s West End where he appeared in The Sound of Fury, Four Steps to Heaven and Elvis the Musical.

Mike was awarded the ‘Jazz Musician of the Year’ award while studying in Liverpool and continued his Jazz studies with the late great Charlie Banacos for 9 years

He works as a freelance musician and has performed with a diverse range of well known artists. Mike also works as a music co-ordinator, arranger and musical director for RTE.

Mike is also obsessed with bike racing as well as playing guitars!
