Lukas Wögler Quartett - Alba (2022)

The band around saxophonist Lukas Wögler got together in the summer of 2019. A year of playing together and the freedom for the personal development of the individual musicians has also brought the band closer together musically. In the composition process, Lukas Wögler deals with personalities, states of mind and everyday situations. The desire for an unobtrusive emotional space. The band leader's pieces convince with simple but powerful melodies and harmonies and want to draw the listener's attention to the uncomplicated beauty of the music. Thanks to the long-standing line-up, honest improvisation and a transparent band sound, the band allows the audience to participate in intimate moments on stage again and again. The second studio album ALBA will be released in September 2022 on the Plastic Jazz label.
