Marina Rubinstein - Lectures on Russian Literature (2022) Hi-Res

The album by Melodiya with the works of contemporary Russian composers – the winners of the competition​ “Lectures on Russian Literature.”

Dom Tvorchestva Peredelkino, together with the Union of Composers of Russia, held the competition in 2021. Its name is a reference to Vladimir Nabokov’s famous lectures. The participants of the competition had to tell, by means of music, about their impressions of the​ literature written in the famous​ writers’ colony of Peredelkino. The compositions on this album are based on literary works by outstanding Russian writers like​ Korney Chukovsky,​ Veniamin Kaverin, Valentin Katayev, Boris Pilnyak.
