One of the most sought after saxophonist from France, Christophe Panzani has performed with jazz legend Carla Bley, drummer Anne Paceo and hip-hop band Hocus Pocus, among many other. His long overdue first album under his own name, 'Les Ames Perdues' (The Lost Souls) is composed of a series of duets with seven different pianists recorded by himself at their respective homes. A sensitive and intimate 'road-album' which sounds like a self-portrait, haunting and wistful. Featuring Yonathan Avishai, Edouard Ferlet, Laia Genc, Leonardo Montana, Tony Paeleman, Guillaume Poncelet and Dan Tepfer.
