While searching for the roots of Eric Clapton's guitar playing, you also come across this CD. The recordings are not that great and cannot be compared with the quality of the official albums. But when you consider that the technical standard back then cannot be compared with today, not that bad at all. It's just a shame that there is no information on the album about the time frame when the recordings were made. You have to assume that these are recordings between Eric's group affiliations with the Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Cream. Seen in this way, these are also historical recordings and if the quality isn't that great, it remains a contemporary document - and the price isn't excessive either.
So price/performance is okay!
