Performing at SuperStar was incredible, but The Moondogs shows that the luggage acquired in five years on the road goes beyond. With an album recorded by none other than Roy Cicala, responsible for productions by John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix and dozens of other music stars, the band has the signature of the myth in the debut album “Black & White Woman”, which was also Roy's last work before his death in January 2014.
Formed by Johnny Franco, on lead vocals and guitar, Gabriel Gariani, on bass, Victor Prado, also on guitar and Gabriel Borsatto, on drums, and all accompanying Johnny on vocals, the band presents genuine rock n' roll with a strong influence of Beatles, even in the name, as Johnny & The Moondogs was the first band name of Lennon and company.
Chosen by singer Jake Bugg to open his show on their last visit to Brazil, the group shows on stage a performance by experienced people, despite the young age of the members, with original songs such as “If You Do, You Do”, “Rock and Rollin ” and “Black & White Woman”, which already has a clip recorded with the participation of Moacyr Franco, Johnny's father.
