Tasteful waltz by lovable Kaempe-Dresden. A masterpiece that has attracted many listeners has been turned into SACD by new mastering from the original master. The CD layer has also been renewed.

The only disc on Eurodisk with Kempe (1910-1976) [2016 is 40 years after his death] and the prestigious Dresden Staatskapelle. It is a famous performance with a strong connection between the two and a rich musicality. This time, a new high-bit mastering from the home country original analog master tape is performed and reprinted. The CD layer also implements new mastering. Originally, this record was recorded during a gala concert commemorating the 425th anniversary of Dresden Staatskapelle, and later on the former EMI label, many R. Strauss orchestras etc. were recorded, whereas the Eurodisk Co-starring with the same orchestra is a valuable sound source that has become this one piece only. It seems that the selection of songs at this time was left to Kempe, and all songs were thoughtful for Kempe. Above all, Lehar's "Gold and Silver", which is the title of the album, is the eyebrows of this album, and it is truly exquisite, combined with a graceful and rich sound. In addition, this album was featured on the special page (New World Heritage CD) of the July 2016 issue of record art magazine. Earlier, these six songs were also included in a series of recordings on the former EMI label with the Vienna Philharmonic, but on this board with Dresden Staatskapelle, the folds are different from the Vienna-style expression Although it is based on performance, it has a characteristic expression that can be said to be German, taking into account the rhythm of the rhythm, the strength of the instrument, and the balance of the whole orchestra everywhere. Even though it is a festive song, the expression that reflects the performer's special note and the character of Kaempe himself, along with the sound quality of Eurodisk, is unique to this combination. In this reprint, unlike the master sound source that was previously released with SACD single layer, mastering has been performed again this time. The mastering engineer is also different from the previous one. In terms of sound quality, we respected the original master of our home country and performed mastering including this CD layer. With SACD, you can play amazingly high sound quality with the sound quality close to the master sound source. In this second release, we will release a total of three titles.
