Choo Choo Panini - Moon Ray (2023)

Choo Choo Panini describe themselves as an orchestra celebrating the golden era of Swing Music. Both "Straighten up and fly right" and "Call the Police" from Nat King Cole represent the best of danceable Swing music. The 12 evergreens, produced by the german Lindy-Hop Community "Lindy Pott", are all upbeat, light songs: They are laid-back and sung with disarming nonchalance by Nellys relaxed but inspiring voice. She is accompanied by the guitar-, trumpet-, tuba- and tromboneplayer Radek Fedyk, pianist Roman Babik, bass player Nils Imhorst and drummer Patrick Hengst; their interpretation is reduced and at the same time elegant adorned.
