Holy Tongue - Deliverance And Spiritual Warfare (2023)

Following on from a trilogy of critically acclaimed EPs, Holy Tongue present their debut album. Formed in 2018 as a studio project by producer and musician Al Wootton and percussionist Valentina Magaletti, Holy Tongue has transitioned into a full band with the addition of Susumu Mukai.
On Deliverance And Spiritual Warfare the band present their most focused work yet, fully exploring their diverse influences, from the opening Andalusian catholic march to heavyweight dub via jazz, post punk, mystical percussion tracks and techno. Featuring guest appearances from the legendary Steve Beresford on prepared piano, and Abraham Parker and David Wootton on brass.
