To waste a life is a mortal sin in Waterbury. To waste a year unfathomable. No month, no day no second is Wasted in Waterbury. Waterbury is well aware that from the moment we are born, we are also dying. As each newborn baby takes its first breath, a loving elder takes her last. What do we do with the moments in between? You have one life, don’t Waste it.

Swimming against the current, Waterbury seeks the ultimate goal, immortality. Immortal not of the flesh, but of the record. Wax, tape, disc, or streaming forever, Waterbury will live in the space occupied by countless other mere mortals that had the drive, the courage and inspiration to record their life experiences and offer it to the forevermore in the form of a record.

Waterbury presents their 3rd full length LP since they were born six months ago. Not a moment has been Wasted in Waterbury. Wasted in Waterbury was created in the chaos and distractions of everyday life. Waterbury, committed to family and work with all the stress struggle and rewards, never wasted a second and were determined to create this epic LP.

How did Waterbury manage to create this cohesive concept album in the midst of all these distractions? Why did Waterbury create an album lover’s album while living in such a throwaway culture? Perhaps it is a simple as Steinbeck wrote “The causes lie deep and simple the causes are a hunger in a stomach, multiplied a million times; a hunger in a single soul, hunger for joy and some security, multiplied a million times; muscles and mind aching to grow, to work, to create, multiplied a million times.”
