The Master Musicians Of Jajouka - Live at Le Guess Who? Festival (2023) [Hi-Res]

The Master Musicians of Jajouka, led by Bachir Attar, performed live at the opening night of Le Guess Who? 2022 as part of the Hidden Musics project following the release of their new album 'Dancing Under The Moon', released earlier in 2022 via Glitterbeat Records.

Based in Jajouka, Morocco, The Master Musicians are a collective of Jbala Sufi trance makers who are committed to creating a contemporary representation of a century-old musical tradition. Their music is deeply hypnotic and earth-shatteringly intense. To this day, they prove William Buroughs words, as the writer called them ‘the four thousand-year-old rock and roll band’.
