Robert Mikuljan Quintet - Internal Walk (2021)

"Internal Walk" is a musical story about the awareness of the present moment, guided by the experience of the past. The compositions on this album are inspired by my life experiences, "lessons", the environment, but also by the best people and events that have happened to me. It is not easy to always be aware that we live in some of our dreams, thoughts, emotions and "we are everywhere" except present in the present moment. The discomfort that results from these inconsistencies is only a passing point of growth. Transient, like everything else. Many stories are written around the sentence "and it will pass". Life is motion, vibration, walking. In parallel with it, another, internal, thought process takes place in us. Starting point... forward/backward, up/for the better... It is always important, in the end, to "return to yourself"
