The Love Affair were a London based pop, soul, R&B group formed in 1966. They had several UK top 10 hits in 1968-69, including the chart topper "Everlasting Love". The group survived numerous line-up changes over the years and Love Affair members have since played with Mott The Hoople, Queen, Paul Rodgers, Dr. Feelgood and Van Morrison among others. Founding member Maurice Bacon rejoined them in 2006 and enjoyed four years of success on the oldies circuit with his old group until they finally called it quits in 2010.
