Acantha Lang - Sugar Woman EP (2021) Hi-Res

Releasing this EP is a huge milestone for me. With my album release being pushed back to 2022, I thought this was the perfect time to release a smaller body of work, while I finish up the album. By releasing this EP, I get to show you more of my sound and more of who I am as an artist and songwriter, which is all very exciting to me!

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Acantha Lang has Soul & Blues running through her veins. Inspired by the legendary voices of Aretha Franklin, Mavis Staples, Nina Simone, Acantha has a captivating textured voice that is immediately recognizable.
She is an accomplished songwriter penning a song (Gonna Be All Right) on Robert Randolph (and The Family Band) 2017 Grammy nominated album ‘Got Soul’.
