Dark Leaves - Laid under leaf, under branches (2021)

Dark Leaves is a solo project by West Cornwall’s Patrick Aston. He creates songs immersed in the spirit of the land, and seascape where he resides. His music is earthy, atmospheric, alternative acoustic folk combined with electronic and drone influenced soundscapes.
Patrick is a guitarist who has also released an ambient techno album under the name of ‘Paranonia' in the 90s.
Inspiration can be heard in his new music from these previous forms, and combined with his organic, acoustic guitar playing and intimate, emotive voice, creates Dark Leaves.
