The Debut-Album "Unfulfilled Desires" is out now! Greyshadow is singer-songwriter Gregor Wessely. Describing his life as a consistent escape from loneliness and alienation Greyshadow has always been on the run from himself. Drawn from his own experiences he paints an appealing picture of forlornness and inherent fears completed by feelings of hope and his big endeavor of seeking connections. At the heart of his lyrics lies true honesty seeking for his ardors: unfulfilled desires, dreams, phantasies are emphasized by his distinctive and powerful yet contemplative voice. His music is about variety: Featuring different musical facets from dreamy-indie to pop and spanning the gaps between the past and the modern, he stands out with individuality. The guitars are haunted by extensive synth-sections, reminiscent of the 80s, while simultaneously striving for the present. Greyshadow has already had big airplay success on European radio stations such as BBC, FLUX FM, EGO FM, MDR and airplays in Spain, USA, Italy, Switzerland and Greek. In his home country, Austria he is no longer an insiders tip: from TV-presentations (ProSieben, PULS 4 , Kabel 1, ORF 2) to constant rotations on radio station like Radio FM4, Radio 88.6, Life Radio, ANTENNE, Radio Burgenland, Radio Steiermark or Radio Soundportal. He also took part at the showcase-festival “Waves Vienna“, followed by several festival-shows, live-appearances on TV and a tour through Austria.
