Pedro Vian and Raül Refree unveil their highly anticipated collaborative debut album: "Font de la Vera Pau." Two creative minds from the Barcelona avant-garde music scene, Raül Refree and Pedro Vian, have merged to give birth to their first joint album. This eagerly awaited project promises to challenge boundaries and bring forth the genius and artistic vision that characterize both artists.

While their first collaboration already stirred passions at the 2021 Sonar Festival, it is now that Vian and Refree present us with a collective work that breaks molds. This album, simmered slowly and in complete complicity, stands out for the overwhelming musical connection interwoven in each of its nine compositions. A grand piano, a synthesizer, and a positive organ engage in a dialogue that breathes life into a hypnotic universe with psychedelic and minimalist nuances. Baptized as "Font de la Vera Pau," the album invites us to immerse ourselves in a transcendental and reflective journey. The duo merges diverse influences, allowing space for the spirituality of cosmic jazz from emblematic figures such as Alice Coltrane and Sun Ra, alongside the enveloping soundscapes of Japanese ambient from Haruomi Hosono and Hiroshi Yoshimura, as well as the meditative minimalism of Steve Reich or Terry Riley.

The creative genesis of this masterpiece dates back to 2020 when Pedro Vian returned to Barcelona after two years of living in Amsterdam. At that moment, the first notes started to flow, generating the initial landscapes and giving rise to his first collaboration project with the brilliant composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Raül Refree. The latter, known for his solo work on record labels like Glitterbeat, as well as his innovative productions and joint albums with renowned artists such as Rosalía, Richard Youngs, Silvia Pérez Cruz, and Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), brings a fusion of influences that enriches the duo's sonic palette. "Font de la Vera Pau" promises to captivate and transport listeners with its unconventional compositions and audacity.

The collaboration between Raül Refree and Pedro Vian stands as a milestone in contemporary music, solidifying their position as visionary creators who defy conventions.
