Patricia Romania is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Was born in February in the city of Araraquara, Sao Paulo.
Started singing very early and his first studio experience was with 7 years old when she recorded a CD performing some of her favorite songs, in order to give family and friends.
At 12, Patricia began performing professionally throughout Brazil and later, in 2008, was invited to the official opening of the International Rodeo in Barretos (Brazil), singing "Ave Maria" and thrilling everyone.
Drawing attention and causing huge impact in all the places, the young artist was several times invited to perform in the biggest rodeos in Latin America.
In 2008, Patricia recorded her first CD as a professional. Fully recorded in Salvador, Bahia, produced by Luciano Pinto, the album features a delicious Brazilian swing that heats the public.
The year 2009 arrives and Patricia appears as special guest in the DVD "Raca Negra Canta Jovem Guarda" of the acclaimed group Raca Negra. The hit "Devolva-me", originally recorded by Leno & Lilian in 1966, gets new arrangement and impeccable and enlightened interpretation of Patricia Romania.
In parallel to her work, the beautiful voice of Patricia always raised its sheen to the heaven. Since her youth declare your praise.
She was the lead singer of the gospel band "Canal da Graca" for 7 years, playing gigs throughout Brazil and in 2009 they released the CD "Tocando o Ceu", by the label Codimuc, and also a video clip.
Still in 2009, Patricia goes to New York, invited by renowned producers to rehearse and record what became her first international work. The CD "Sou Brasileira" was recorded in the United States and released in Japan in 2010 by Pony Canyon label. A unique album that mixes the best of Brazilian music with American Jazz and that gave to Patricia the opportunity to work, for the first time, with some of the most important and renowned producers, musicians and artists, both Brazilians and Americans, such as Toninho Horta, Oscar Castro Neves, Romero Lubambo, Paulinho Braga, Chico Batera, Arthur Maia, Fernando Caneca, Sandro Albert, Dede Sampaio, Elias Almeida, Terri Lyne Carrington, Mitchel Forman, Robert Irving III, Darryl Jones, Jimmy Haslip, Darryl Tookes, Michael Houston, Ney Marques among others.
In September of the same year, with two performances at the renowned venue "Blue Note" and yet a third performance at the major annual Jazz festival, the "Tokyo Jazz Festival", Patricia, besides promoting her CD throughout the "Land of the Rising Sun", appears as a special guest at the release shows of the CD "The Mosaic Project", of the renowned drummer Terri Lyne Carrington.
Continuing the achievements in 2010, the gorgeous singer was indicated and competed in various categories of "Praise the Lord Trophy", the highest award for gospel music in Brazil. Due to its interpretation on the song "Anjo Guardiao", which was widely acclaimed by critics and audiences, hitting more than 2.000.000 views on Youtube, Patricia was the winner of the category "Revelation Singer".
In 2011 Patricia recorded as special guest in group Mr. Zelion's CD entitled "Miracle". This record presents 10 songs with instrumental performances by Scott Henderson, Tommy Barbarella, Randy Brecker, Stu Hamm, Karl Perazzo, Jorge Casas, Michael Leonhart, among other exponents of the music world, in a total of 24 artists on the same CD. Patricia sings solfeggio accompanying the melody in the song called "Music Fair", besides vocal scats breathtaking.
Starting 2013, Patricia decided to go back to its origins, opening the trunk, getting the dust off of some music sheet, putting on the leather boots again and released the CD "Sentimento". Produced by Murilo Romano, co produced and mixed by Greg Droman and mastered by Hank Williams, "Sentimento" brings back the truth of the real Country Music, one of Patricia Romania's trademark.
Recorded, mixed and mastered in Nashville, TN, United States, with Paul Franklin (steel guitar), Tony Harrell (keyboards), Andy Leftwich (mandolin, banjo and fiddle), Brent Mason (guitar), Murilo Romano (acoustic guitar, b. vocals), Lonnie Wilson (drums) and Glenn Worf (bass), "Sentimento" focuses on love.
