Patrick Langot, Alexis Cardenas and Alejandro Sandler, conducting the Orchestre de Lutetia, are united by a shared love of Argentine music and take us on a voyage of discovery.

Three premiered works by composers Gerardo Di Giusto, Gabriel Sivak and Alejandro Iglesias Rossi revolve around Ginastera and his Variaciones concertantes for orchestra.

Drawing on the incredible artistic variety of the region, their works navigate between folk mysticism (Llorando silencios and Quechua tradition), jazz (Alas), learned music and primitivism (Descaminos) to explore the full breadth of the Argentine soul, whose voice is conveyed with ardent sincerity by Patrick Langot’s cello, Alexis Cardenas’s violin and the orchestra.
