Ariana originally had the theme for a TV series at its core and was then developed by the composer into a three-movement concerto in which a demanding piano part is combined with a symphonic accompaniment to create a wave of emotion and virtuosity.

Prélude, Choral et Fugue by César Franck, a pianistic fresco of classical radicalism, references from Bach to Liszt, where lyricism meets polyphony, fits in well with this. Two compositions, one goal: to touch the soul through musical magnificence.
