Gong - Angel's Egg (2026) [Hi-Res]

Psychedelic and progressive rock group Gong presents a deluxe reissue of their 1973 album Angel’s Egg, the second installment in the Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy. Led by Daevid Allen, the record weaves surreal cosmic storytelling with an eclectic musical blend of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, space rock, and jazz fusion. The remastered edition was cut at half-speed from the original BYG Records tapes by Grammy-winning mastering engineer Lewis Hopkin at Stardelta Studios. Accompanied by faithful gatefold packaging, the release includes a 16-page replica of Allen’s original guide detailing the album’s mythology and character lore.
