Ronny deCarlo - Fonque Nouveau (2024) Hi Res

With FONQUE NOUVEAU he strives for a fresh, new sound that brings together the guitar with contemporary influences and sound design from Hip Hop, EDM, Spaghetti Westerns and 90's Video Games. FONQUE NOUVEAU pushes genre boundaries and combines the feeling of a live funk/gospel band with an acoustic/electric hybrid sound.

You can expect a musical collage of solid beats, virtuoso interplay and cinematic moments with a strong narrative character, which takes the listener on a soulful and grooving excursion.

In 2023, Ronny deCarlo won 'The Records' prize from the Keep an Eye foundation, and with it a completely financed album production and tour. His debut will be released on January 25, 2024 in Tivoli Vredenburg. Ronny has previously done sessions for, among others, the VPRO program 'Vrije Geluiden' and played at the famous Transition Festival. The band is now on tour and will perform a matinee at HAL015 on April 14.
