Dimitris Tasoudis, Fabio Turchetti - Cyclops (2024) [Hi-Res]

Fabio Turchetti (bandoneon) and Dimitris Tasoudis (piano, electronics, drums, log drum - no overdubs - ) present their first CD featuring original compositions and an arrangement of a Greek folk song.

Fabio Turchetti is a singer, an accordionist and a musical video blogger from Cremona, Italy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in composition at the Conservatorio “Luigi Cherubini” of Florence and one in musicology at Università of Bologna. In his thirthy year carrer he has played almost 1000 concerts, alone or with others, from the Manila Jazz Festival in the Philippines to New York City’s Accordions Festival at Bryant Park, and recorded about 40 cd.

Dimitris Tasoudis was born in 1980 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He first studied piano with Sophia Zoumi and drums with his brother, Thanos. As a member of various music combos (post-rock, modal jazz and world music), he has recorded nine CD’s. He has composed music for films as a member of the Prefabricated Quartet; during the last years he is working on his own in this area as in theatre as well.
