Ghetto Man was the private-press, debut LP from Marvin Sease, one of soul music's most colorful cult figures. Bubbling up from the Chittlin' Circuit in the mid-1980s, Sease self-released and self-produced this southern soul gem - an album full of bodacious blues, country funk and deep disco/boogie joints. Original pressings of this ultra-rare LP now trade hands for hundreds of dollars. Also included on this first-ever CD edition is Sease's breakthrough hit "Candylicker" - an all-time jukebox classic, ten minutes and one second of the finest audio porn ever committed to wax!
