From the hills of Laventille outside Port of Spain to Lagos via Caracas and Brooklyn, the story of the striking and charismatic leader of Black Truth Rhythm Band is an important part of Trinidad’s music history.

First digital release for Oluko Imo’s final album, recorded in Lagos in 2001 and featuring Seun Kuti. Imo revisits the theme of the global struggle for equal rights, accompanied by musicians from Fela Kuti’s Egypt 80 band in a late period West African / Caribbean masterpiece.
