Indie Pop artist Brooke Howard releases her first full-length studio album Witch Trap. The genre-blending album journeys through good vibes, sass, hip hop, RnB, Alt Pop, and so much more. As Howard states, it's "As if Stevie Nicks and Rihanna had a baby." The album features production from Lyell Evans Roeder and Kirk “KJ” Follette.
"... the night I released my first song, 'Morning Night', I wanted to celebrate, but it was Covid times, so there could be no release party. Instead, Lyell and Kirk came over and we created some of the first Witch Trap songs. We didn’t even know what it was we were embarking on at the time. We just wanted to have fun and create music together. And we did.
That night, we created 'Crawlin’' which was the catalyst of the Witch Trap Concept. I listened to it on repeat and posted videos of the raw track because a fire had been lit inside me. It led me to getting in touch with, for lack of a better word, my inner Witch..." - Brooke Howard
