New Orleans keyboard player and singer Ronnie Barron was known primarily as a session player for Dr John, Ry Cooder, Tom Waits, Eric Burdon & The Animals and many more. This 1978 album was recorded in August 1976 in New Orleans , with musicians including Art Neville and Mac Rebennack (Dr John) and members of The Meters, and in Tokyo, October 1977. The Tokyo session was produced by Haruomi Hosono, co-produced by Makoto Kubota and Ronnie Barron. Musicians from Tin Pan Alley, Sunset Gang amd other leading musicians were featured including Tatsuo Hayashi (drums) and Shigeru Suzuki, Ginji Ito and Kenichi Inoue (guitars). Such a stellar cast of musicians from New Orleans and Tokyo makes for an incredible album with Hosono's participation the icing on the cake. Remastered by Makoto Kubota.
