Colin Bass & Daniel Biro - More (2024)

Following their 2020 collaboration debut ‘Still’, Colin Bass (Camel) and Daniel Biro (Mysteries of the Revolution) return with ‘More’, recorded in London and Wales and released on the Sargasso label. Bass (vocals, bass, guitar, percussion) and Biro (keyboards) share songwriting and production duties on the album’s 11 new original songs.

The pair were hugely pleased to welcome extra special guest Andy Latimer, whose unique appearance and outstanding guitar contributions feature here on five tracks. A rare treat for all Camel fans.

The songs cover a wide range of topics, from childhood memories and the passage of time (‘Back Again’, ‘Smile of Smiles’, ‘Sailor’s Lament’, ‘I Wish’) to more ‘politicised’ themes (‘Hunting Game’ and the eight-minute epic ‘Deep Fake’). There is also a tale of infamous ghosts (‘Ghost of a Flea’), a reference to William Blake and his otherworldly visions.
