Yvonne Elliman - Rising Sun (1975/2024)

After a successful run on Broadway, and two critically acclaimed albums via Independent distribution under her belt, Yvonne was already a star in her own. In addition to her own growing solo recording career, she was writing and recording with Eric Clapton, Leon Russell, and George Harrison of all people. In fact, she toured with Clapton for several years while also enjoying her own success. With "Rising Sun" she had James Brown, Rick Danko of The Band, among other studio greats helping her out, and man does she rock this one! Being one of her best efforts, this Sun rises higher than any other recording of that time period! Enjoy!
Three songs, "From the Inside", "Best of my Love". and "Somewhere in the Night" have been issued on CD. This song has NEVER been issued and therefore has been a holy grail among folk fans.
