Singer/pianist Buddy Greco's 2014 sixty second album, Route 66, a personal tribute to his old friend Nat King Cole, who Buddy first met when they were both working in Las Vegas back in the day. Buddy is backed by a jazz trio featuring guitarist Joe Lano & bassist Bob Sachs plus drummer Tommy Check on a few tracks.

Didn't really know his work but I like Cole so I bought the disc. I was pleasantly Surprised to find Greco a fine interpretive pianist and vocalist. Far more than a Vegas lounge lizard this cat can swing. I plan to search out more of his recordings
