In fact, the dozen selections are drawn from 12 different releases, matching the acoustic Brazilian-oriented player with such notables as tenorman Scott Hamilton, guitarists Laurindo Almeida and Carlos Barbosa-Lima, violinist Johnny Frigo, harmonica whiz Hendrik Meurkens, altoist Bud Shank, Ken Peplowski (on clarinet and tenor), the Washington Guitar Quintet and the Annapolis Brass Quintet.
