On their new album, Heigh Chrief present themselves as rougher and more diverse than before. Nevertheless, the basic feeling remains the blues. They cleverly integrate their different musical backgrounds into the songs and offer an exciting mix of rock, blues, jazz and Americana, inspired by artists such as Paul Simon, Blake Mills and Robben Ford.

For the current album, Heigh Chief spent more time than usual on songwriting and arranging. The result is a dynamic and catchy blues-rock-Americana album that was recorded with a lot of love, heart and fun. The fact that Norway is so close to the roots has been known since Heigh Chief!
