Bin Huang, Hyun-Sun Kim - The Christmas Story (2013)

Bin Huang, one of the world’s leading violinists, first made an impression on the musical world when, at the age of fourteen, she won the Junior Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Lublin, Poland, sharing First Prize with Maxim Vengerov. She went on to win both the Paganini International Violin Competition of Genoa, Italy, and the ARD International Music Competition of Munich, Germany, gaining international fame. Ms. Huang has been universally praised for her interpretive and technical skills, hailed as “a winner in what matters the most” (The Washington Post) and “a talent that leaves the listener flabbergasted.” (The Baltimore Sun) Bin Huang has performed throughout the world and in the most important concert venues, such as the Kennedy Centre, the Lincoln Centre, Brussels’ Palais Des Beaux-Arts, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Opera City in Tokyo, the Great Hall of Moscow’s Conservatory, and the People’s Great Hall in China. She performed the Inauguration Concert of the National Grand Theatre of China, and the Gala Concert for the Tenth Anniversary of Shanghai’s Grand Theatre.

Praised by The Strad “...excellent accompaniments throughout...,” pianist Hyun Sun Kim is recognized as a distinguished collaborative musician and has performed in Italy, Canada, Korea, Holland and the United States. L’eco di Bergamo of Italy described her as “the pianist... With sensitivity... intensity and character”. She has been broadcast by Ulsan MBC Radio in Korea, Vermont Public Radio, and Korean Christian Broadcasting in New York.
