Ksana - Orphic (2024)

Klavdiya Kitanova (vocals, percussions, didgeridoo) and Anton Yanachkov (guitar, Bulgarian tamboura, percussions) are a pagan folk duo whose sub-genre they determine as ritual/symbolic folklore.

Ksana (occult meaning) – “the favourable moment”, “temporal center”

KsANa is inspired by their love of European folklore, Mother Nature, and a lifestyle alternative to mass culture.

The duo bridges timelines between ancient history, world cultures, and lands of mystical imagination via honoring pagan pantheons and worshiping Nature. Their music flows low down to Mother Earth, thus bringing one's body and soul closer to its origin.
