At a time when life did not hold much joy for many people, it seems to us today, people searched for inner, "true" joy and poured their thoughts and feelings into music that captured this glow, this source and transformed it into sound: on its new GENUIN album, the Consort Ripieno Concertino presents baroque ensemble music, that puts joy in our hearts and a smile on our faces! The programme includes works by Johann Ludwig and Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Friedrich Händel, Antonio Vivaldi as well as Giuseppe Sammartini and Jean-Marie Leclair - all of them with small ensembles and transparent, as well as sonorously played. A source of warmth from days gone by.
