Fast Train Union - Analog Outliers (2024)

We have never tried to follow trends whether that be musically or sonically (ie. latest studio trickery) and also try to serve the song in what we play on our instruments. Absolutely NO AUTO TUNE was used for vocals on the album, and we mixed and mastered it like bands actually did back in the 70’s and 80’s: with a real engineer (Jay Fee Conduction Mastering, Ottawa) who does not subscribe to the current “factory corporate mix settings/standards”.

In our opinion it seems as though most bands now a days add so much compression to their instruments and final mix that they actually lose some of the dynamics in the music.

The new album can really be split into 2 sections with the first half up to Falling Down/Intro being more commercial in and out type of songs and the second half of the album starting with Falling Down/Intro is geared towards longer more indulgent heavier songs with hints of prog.. Album is being released digitally, on vinyl, ltd edition blue vinyl and compact disc.
