The project of the Finnish bass virtuoso Rami Tal (aka Qumo), who has been preaching instrumental prog in its various manifestations since the mid-00s. With this release, I updated the band (compared to last year's album). From the old line-up, only keyboardist Pat Kivinen (his hobby is Hammond) remained, the drummer changed, pipes (trumpet + trombone) were added. Qumma himself plays Chapman's stick, Warr's guitar and other bass instruments. The album is made in disturbing, gloomy, sometimes brutal prog tones with an ominous Hammond and tense pipes. Associations with King Crimson, Univers Zero, Present, Dun, etc. inevitable, but is that a bad thing?
