Al Gorgoni and Chip Taylor had a duo called Just Us since 1965. In 1971 Trade Martin joined in and then the trio changed the band name to Gorgoni, Martin & Taylor producing two albums with a laid back country style influenced by pop/rock. In 1972 Chip Taylor decided to go solo again.
Chip Taylor (early recordings AKA Wes Voight) is a longtime songwriter, producer and solo artist well known for have written classic songs as "Wild Thing" and "Angel Of The Morning".
Trade Martin has worked as studio guitarist and producer as well as made music for advertising in radio and TV spots. He played on nearly every session Phil Spector had in the New York studios.
Al Gorgoni has been studio guitarist on many classic pop hits (for Simon & Garfunkel, The Monkees, The Four Seasons, and The Shangri-Las to name a few) and later managed his own studio.
