Chappell Roan - School Nights EP (2017) [Hi-Res]

Roan admitted the EP School Nights was a "folk-leaning" project, that later admitted she "hated". In 2018, she recalled that the EP was released on the 1 year anniversary of her grandfathers passing (whom her stage name is based off of). She stated “I think he had something to do with that somehow, because we couldn’t have planned it.” In every song, Chappell says there is a clock sound effect involved. She said she never included symbols because she didn’t like them. The EP received mixed reviews from critics.
