Erik von Spreckelsen is a classical composer, jazz pianist and producer from Copenhagen, Denmark. He is an associate professor in composition and piano at The Danish National Academy of Music. Amongst his works as a classical composer are 2 operas, many works for chamber orchestra and pieces for soloists and small groups. He has also written for big bands, e.g The Danish radio big band and The Belgium radio big band and composed and arranged for The Danish national chamber orchestra. As a jazz pianist he has performed all over the world with various bands and soloists.

Marek Konarski - Polish saxophonist, composer and improviser.
A musician characterized by a warm and deep sound, recognizable phrase and extraordinary musical sensitivity. Active on the European scene, both as a leader and a member of many projects. His improvisations are energetic and full of lyricism. They are influenced by Scandinavian music, Polish folk music and be-bop.
