Ebo Krdum - Kemetic Vibes (2024) [Hi-Res]

Musically, the album is inspired by popular rhythms and melodies from center/east African region, mixed with modern elements in the form of horns and accompaniment. One can also feel international influences in the sound. The project is based on big band setting and a fusion style where brass-section is introduced for the first time in Krdum's music. Quote "Kemetic Vibes contains songs from my project Afro-Nilotic tunes. It can be described as a rebellious musical act on the stolen african history. With this album, I want to show the rebel in me that refuses to accept false history and to be brainwashed. A rebel who strives with great hope to reclaim the stolen history and inspire others to start digging for truths and dare to question the colonial history books."
