This 1984 release by the guitar duo of Costa Rican guitarist Jorge Strunz and Iranian-born Ardeshir Farah features Steve Kujala, Alex Acuña, Miguel Cruz, and others, and is a more band ensemble piece than their previous work. The superb guitar technique and layers of nylon and steel strings intertwine in a lustrous way. A total of 8 tracks including A1 “uetzal,” a Latin fusion with tears, A3 “Reng,” with its arabic melody, and B3 “Amritsar,” with its gypsy guitar and passion. The ex-Caldera guitar duo has an exotic sense of melody emanating from their solid technique.
