Los Ovnis formally emerge in 1960, as 'Los Teddy Bears' by idea of its founder and singer Armando Vazquez Castaneda, and are consolidated as 'Mexican Original Psychedelic Acid Rock Group in Spanish in Mexico, in 1968. In 1965 they change their name to Los Ovnis and make excellent Spanish covers of great songs, adapting the lyrics with singular care by their singer. It should be noted that this group had different stages with varied members throughout its history before being consolidated as a stable group among its various members we find collaborations with Mexican singers and musicians who were fans of Mexican rock and who have a tiny part in the history of this bands such is the case of Julian Hernandez, Manuel Main, Jose Maria Lopez among many more however even at this stage there was no success nor had it emerged as a Mexican rock group. During the 60's they appeared on several occasions on television, in various forums, such as cinemas, theatres, dance halls, traditional dances, afternoon parties, as well as the emblematic Cafés Cantantes, among others, El Pipos, La Faceta, El Tiki-Tiki, etc.
