Cyrille Aimée and Diego Figueiredo form a dynamic duo blending their unique musical backgrounds. Aimée, a French-born singer with Dominican roots, began her journey in French Gypsy jazz and moved to the U.S. in 2005 to study at the State University of New York Purchase, winning the Montreux Festival Jazz Voice Competition in 2007 and becoming a finalist in the Thelonious Monk Vocal Competition in 2010. Figueiredo, a Brazilian guitarist from São Paulo, started performing professionally at 15, winning a music contest in 2009 that led him to Berklee School of Music. Together, they explore a diverse range of styles, including jazz standards, samba, French chanson, and original compositions, combining Aimée's expressive vocals with Figueiredo's virtuosic guitar to create an upbeat and captivating sound.
