Active on the international jazz scene for almost twenty years, Giuseppe Venezia is considered a "first call" by many American musicians who perform in Europe. Very active as a sideman with prestigious collaborations, he returns with an album under his own name after a long parenthesis, presenting a project made up entirely of his own compositions, conceived and tested after countless concerts with a quintet of excellence made up of some of his most trusted travel companions. The Lucanian multi-instrumentalist Attilio Troiano on tenor saxophone and flute, the Apulian pianist Bruno Montrone, the Lucanian drummer Pasquale Fiore and, as a guest on all the tracks of the album, the great Fabrizio Bosso on trumpet.
The album crosses all the themes and forms of modern Jazz, filtered and updated through the wise authorial figure of the leader.
