Genre: Improvisational music inspired by Persian tradition.

The album Tapestry captures a unique night of improvisation between three outstanding musicians: Iranian tar player Hamed Sadeghi, saxophonist and clarinetist Jeremy Rose, and bassist Lloyd Swanton (a member of the renowned group The Necks). Inspired by the Persian Radif and Hamed’s music, the Vazesh ensemble creates a harmonious and joyful fusion of an ancient tradition with a modern improvisational approach.

Swanton notes that their interaction brings out "something very deep" that is beautifully captured in this album. Rose highlights the special chemistry born during this concert—calm yet dynamic.

Tapestry, released after their debut The Sacred Key, marks an important step in the trio’s musical journey and is sure to captivate anyone who appreciates the blend of cultures and melodies.
